Navy / THE DECISIONS BEHIND THE PURSUIT

Establish the fit.
Plan the route.

Focus resources on a defined customer problem, a credible contribution, and an achievable next step.

Start with the operating environment

Explain what changes aboard a ship, in naval aviation, ashore, or across a distributed maritime mission. Reliability, integration, power, space, and support needs can shape the value proposition as much as a performance specification.

Map users and acquisition stakeholders

The person who values the capability may not own procurement or integration. Build a stakeholder map around the use case, program context, technical interfaces, and next decision.

Choose the route into the platform or mission

Compare direct sales with prime subcontracting, subsystem integration, and B2B partnerships. Clarify the evidence and partner contribution needed for each route before committing capture resources.

Build for fleet adoption and sustainment

Connect the initial naval pursuit to integration, field support, and the customer’s longer-term needs. Coordinate follow-on engagement with program stakeholders and prime partners to support account growth.

BEFORE WE GET TO WORK

Navy: common questions.

Can you support companies that already sell to the Navy?

Yes. An engagement can focus on adjacent customers, incumbent positioning, recompete preparation, or a new partner route. It builds on the customer knowledge and capture process your team already has.

Should Navy and Marine Corps marketing use the same message?

Some capabilities serve both, but their use cases and buying contexts can differ. We develop a shared technical foundation and separate mission stories where the operational problem, customer, or route to adoption changes.

What should we bring to the first discussion?

Share your capability, current customer engagement, evidence of performance, and the decision your team needs to make. We can scope an assessment, strategy, marketing, or business development engagement around that starting point.
