Air Force / THE DECISIONS BEHIND THE PURSUIT

Establish the fit.
Plan the route.

Focus resources on a defined customer problem, a credible contribution, and an achievable next step.

Define the mission and integration context

Clarify whether the capability serves aircraft, base operations, logistics, mission systems, or another defined use case. Identify technical interfaces, support needs, and evidence required by the intended customer.

Connect innovation work to customer demand

Where applicable, assess AFWERX and TACFI/STRATFI opportunities against current eligibility and the company’s existing work. A named innovation pathway should support a customer and transition strategy, not stand in for one.

Build the adoption and partner case

Identify who would use, integrate, acquire, and sustain the capability. Consider prime subcontract and B2B relationships alongside direct contracts and appropriate OTA pursuits.

Plan for sustained Air Force relevance

Connect fielding and sustainment needs with customer feedback and your product roadmap. Prepare account plans and executive engagement to support follow-on opportunities as mission priorities change.

BEFORE WE GET TO WORK

Air Force: common questions.

Can you help with AFWERX, TACFI, or STRATFI positioning?

We help assess the fit of applicable opportunities and strengthen the customer, evidence, messaging, and transition plan. Eligibility, commitments, and requirements must be checked against the current opportunity.

Do you work with mature Air Force suppliers?

Yes. The focus may be protecting an existing position, preparing for a recompete, expanding into adjacent customers, or updating the value proposition as mission priorities change.

What should we bring to the first discussion?

Share your capability, current customer engagement, evidence of performance, and the decision your team needs to make. We can scope an assessment, strategy, marketing, or business development engagement around that starting point.
